How should I start my company Universe?

The Universe is designed to streamline the innovation process by simplifying the way you capture and manage information, particularly in stage-gated projects. To get started, we recommend that you apply the Universe directly to an ongoing project. For this project, you create a study within the Universe where you can consolidate all existing and previously linked information. Moving forward, you can directly connect all new information to this study. With this approach, you can effectively centralise all project-relevant data for more efficient management and evaluation.

Is my company Universe secure?

At Findest, we put the utmost importance on security to safeguard your invaluable data. We employ stringent measures like robust password policies and multi-factor authentication in order to fortify your accounts within our Universe platform. Rest assured that your data is securely stored on GDPR ISO 27001 compliant servers, located within Europe, thereby making it adhere to stringent data protection norms. 

We have designed and developed our Findest Universe web application with specifically engineered safety features, for instance, input/output validation, session management, escaping, and hardening.

To enhance the protection layer, we also utilise 256-bit AES encryption, an encryption level that's approved for safeguarding even top-secret information, ensuring the secure transmission of data between customers and Findest’s servers. We have equipped our system with stateful firewalls to block unwanted internet traffic effectively.

Can I also add my Findest cases in the Universe?

Sure thing, you will be able to integrate your Findest cases into the Universe. At present, we are shifting all of our Findest products and services into the Universe platform, solidifying it as the foundation of all our technology-scouting endeavors. From Q4 2023, each new case we undertake with you will warrant the creation of a dedicated company Universe with your projects delivered therein. You will also be presented with the opportunity to transition your existing cases into the Universe, thereby unveiling unique connections between past and future initiatives.

How does the pricing model work?

Our pricing model for the Universe license operates on either a monthly or annual basis. Each user license is priced at €75 per month or €900 per year. 

We also offer viewer licenses, specifically designed for users who only need viewing access without editing privileges. The first 10 viewer licenses are offered free of charge. For every subsequent viewer, the cost is €12.50 per month or €150 per year.

‍Who should I invite to the Universe?

The Universe platform is most effective when utilised with R&D innovation teams as it facilitates collaborative learning and sharing of research insights and information regarding project progression. To leverage its benefits maximally, we recommend inviting individuals that form part of your R&D landscape. This could include R&D leaders, engineers, innovation managers, technology scouts, information specialists, and application engineers, depending on your organisation's structure. By doing so, each member can bring unique insights to the table to foster a more innovative and collaborative environment.

Can I also upload existing internal documents?

Absolutely, Universe allows the uploading of existing internal documents for ease of access and organisation. You can conveniently upload or link your existing local documents onto any study or technology page within Universe.

We believe that reusing knowledge should automatically follow from executing your existing research processes on the Universe. Therefore we highly focus on ease of use and research productivity to drive adoption of the Universe in your team. Once the Universe is adopted in the way of working of your organisation, we provide the possibility to index old files to be integrated into your Universe.

Will IGOR^AI be available on the Universe?

We are currently in the process of integrating all our Findest products and services, including IGOR^AI, into the Universe platform. This integration is set to transform the Universe platform into a central hub for technology scouting and utilising the IGOR^AI search engine. This strategic move will notably enhance the potential to centralise and interconnect your R&D initiatives via your colleagues through both IGOR^AI and the Universe. Additionally, we'll facilitate technology scouting projects in the Universe, empowering our professional scouts to update your Universe with the latest technological breakthroughs and insights.
