How does the scouting service work?
After the intake meeting the Findest technology scout will focus on finding all relevant technologies for you. These technologies will contain a short description and findings from scientific literature or patents. The aim of this first scouting phase is to provide an overview of technologies that can answer your problem.
|
This second scouting phase will consist of elaborating the information and summarise this in a table containing three important specifications of your choice (ex: efficiency, power consumption, purity, etc.). In addition, papers and patents, TRL and suppliers (if applicable) will be provided per technology.

Two full example projects
weld inspection
How to inspect a weldline in hard to reach places? That's whats being scouted in this example project. The first scouting phase resulted in 36 technologies using acoustic, electromagnetic, and optical phenomena. Ten technologies were selected to be deepened in the second scouting phase, as is shown in the final results section.

neutralize odour
In this example project an hypothetical R&D-team is on the outlook for solutions for odour control, to help prevent undesired smells in an enclosed indoor environment to linger for a prolonged period of time. This scouting project will focus on techniques that potentially assist in the removal of indoor odours, preferably within a short period of time.
