With IGOR^AI we can search for applications of a specific technology product or process. This type of scouting project is especially interesting if you want to enter new markets with your technology.  

Example Case: Find Gold Nanoparticle Markets

In this challenge, IGOR^AI is used to scout all applications of Gold Nanoparticles. The first scouting phase resulted in 33 applications found within the bio(medical), chemical and electronics sector. Ten applications were selected to be deepened in the second scouting phase. For these ten applications, maturity of the applications is shown on the radar, while volumes, market size and amount of patent and paper hits in IGOR^AI are compared in the requirements table.

How does a Markets & Applications ​case work?

During the intake meeting we together define the scope of your technology, for which you want to find applications. 

After the intake meeting the Findest scout will focus on finding as many relevant applications as possible for your technology. These applications will be stored on the IGOR^AI platform with descriptions and examples from literature.

In the midway meeting, we will discuss together which results are relevant. You can then select 1-10 applications for a deep dive scouting phase.

In the second scouting phase the scout elaborates the information for the selected applications. A summary of the applications is provided in a table containing three important aspects of your choice. Additionally, specifications, TRL and potential customers is provided per application.
