Application scouting service
If your company developed a technology that is being sold in one specific sector, you might be interested in what other sectors might benefit from your technology. With IGOR^AI we can not only search for technologies, but also for applications of a specific technology product or process. This type of scouting project is especially interesting if you want to enter new markets with your technology

How does technology application scouting work?
The goal of a technology applications scouting project is to find applications for one specific technology product of process. As with most of our services, it consists of three meetings (intake, midway and final). After the intake meeting the technology scout will focus on finding all applications for your technology – the scope level of the application (e.g. ‘batteries’ or ‘lithium-based batteries’) will depend on the specific topic. These applications will contain a short description and examples from literature. The aim of this first scouting phase will be on finding all applications out there (usually between 10 and 40) and providing information about them that allows you to select several of these applications for further deepening.

In the midway meeting there is a possibility to select 1-10 applications for the deep dive scouting phase. This second scouting phase will consist of elaborating the information of the applications and summarise this in a table containing three important aspects of your choice. Specifications, TRL and potential customers will be provided per application. This approach creates a more detailed overview of the applications that are actually interesting for your technology.
